Intruder Apprehensions

Nights on post were spent enduring many things, such as boredom, rain, mosquitoes and the like. Every once in a while an intruder incident would occur, and if you were lucky an apprehension would follow. During these times the adrenaline rush you would experience is indescribable. The adrenaline would pound so hard you would have a headache, and the excitement involved would last long after the actual incident had concluded.
