Rachelle Moore, daughter of Monty and Cathy Moore has to be credited with taking many of the photos from the three plus days spent at the reunion. While many of us were unable to even spell camera during this period she was busy recording our greatest gathering since we were stationed together twenty years ago. Thanks Rachelle!!!

Pretty much says it all. doesn't it? Shirt supplied by Fran Rice.

Most of us arrived on Thursday anywhere from noon until almost midnight, when the Zangls finally arrived. The photo below was taken on Sat night during dinner in the hotel's Green Room.

Our reunion group photo.

At each meal there was an honorary place set for Bob Gray and during each of these meals SAM and Casey stood a silen but vigilant watch over our departed comrade.

Notice, SAM is wearing the complete ensemble of the 1970's era dog handler in the Philippines. (SAM and Casey compliments of John Grammer).

After dinner and party which extended well into the early morning hours we all assembled at the front desk Friday morning at 0900 for a bus tour to the Military Working dog school at Camp Medina and a tour of the Security Police Museum on Lackland itself.

Our bus tour of Medina, Lackland and most of the surrounding San Antonio area.

We got quite a tour of the San Antonio suburbs by the bus driver who didn't appear to have a clue where she was going most of the time. MSgt John Pearce and the other K-9 instructors at the school put on quite a show for us and reacquainted us with training dogs.

Bill Louk, trying not to get himself killed while he tries his hand at catching a dog after twenty years.

Three of our braver members; Andy Zangl, Dan Weaver and Bill Louk also took a turn at catching a dog. Thankfully the advanced ages didn't impede them and there were no injuries. We had a ball during the K-9 training and would like to express our heartfelt thanks to John Pearce and his team for their gracious efforts toward us.
After the dog school we wandered around a little more until we made it to the Security Police Museum. For quite a few of us, myself included, this was our first trip to the museum and it was quite impressive. We took a moment to pay homage to Bob Gray and all the other Security Policemen who have given their lives in defense of their countries.
After the Security Police Museum we were taken to a restaurant called Luby's for lunch then transported back to the hotel.

Gumby, Korky and Tony Heineman reflect on what was.

That evening was more of the same of the previous evening. Saturday was for us to do as we pleased, which for most of us was hanging around the hotel and continue to reacquaint ourselves with long lost comrades and friends.

Sunday came much too quickly. John Grammer and Bill Louk took SAM & Casey across the street to photograph them walking post at the Alamao. Finally, as the day droned on we went our separate ways with promises to keep in touch and make plans for future events.

Above photo is of the Alamo.

The two photos above are of the famous Riverwalk and the boat tour.
