TRAINING

Top Row, Left to Right:

1-3. For a period of time at Clark there was a semi-official demo/drill team, of which I was a member for a month prior to DEROSing back to the States in June of 1977. This series of three photos was taken later in 1977.
The drill team was performing for the American Ambassador to the Philippines.

4. Attack training. Ed Green searches the decoy Diane Lieber, while Blue watches intently.

5. Bill Louk's dog Blackie. Blackie had been trained to jump into the window and stay on the ledge until Bill commanded him to jump back down.

6. The base firing range where we qualified on weapons such as the GAU (Short, stubby M-16), .38 caliber handgun, M-60 machine gun, M-79 grenade launcher and 12 gauge shotgun. This day's training was with the M-16.

7. A customs class taught at Subic Bay Naval Base in Oct 1977.
